I first discovered Amalli Talli a couple years ago and have been intrigued but never actually bought anything. I was honored to be given an opportunity to give a review on my choice of an outfit and went for it. This should have been done weeks ago. But there’s a reason why. Keep reading and you’ll see why it took so long.
I feel like I have to preface by saying that those of you who have followed this blog since the beginning already know I suck at taking pictures. This is me trying once again to bust out of my comfort zone so please don’t make a meme out of my pics lol.
So let me tell you about what it took to get these pictures. I had a day off from work and had already asked hubby for a photo shoot. The day that I’m supposed to take the pictures, I can’t find the shirt. It was literally nowhere to be found. My jeans were still there, but no shirt. So what did I do? I waited until my daughter was in school and ransacked her room. I found the shirt. Along with some of my other clothes. Had me walking out of her room like…
She tried it. So I’ve worn the jeans a couple times when the top was MIA and they are super comfortable. They are kind of stretchy and I needed a belt by the end of the day. No shrinkage after being washed multiple times and they have not faded at all.
The top is soft and warm. On the day of my photoshoot it was about 80 degrees and I was feeling it. My favorite thing about this top is I love how the sleeves flare out. I feel like I have long orangutan arms and this top would’ve been perfect if the sleeves were a couple inches longer. They don’t expose my wrists, but because of how the sleeves flare out, it would have been great if at least part of my hands were covered.
Overall I’m quite pleased with what I have from Amalli Talli so far. Even though I really like the jeans I bought, they were not my first choice. There was another pair of jeans that I wanted sooo bad but they were sold out in my size. I keep stalking the site for a restock because I must have them.
I would recommend you go ahead and try them out if you haven’t already. Don’t be scurred. They are legit.
Thank you Amalli Talli!
