I’ve received questions about finding lingerie for tall women. As with everything else for us… it’s not easy. The negligees in department stores are already short, but for us they usually come up a little too short. The teddy would most likely feel like they’re cutting you in half starting at your lady bits.
As an alternative, I’ve found a few 2 piece items that’s may be suitable for longer bodies. I’ve included some plus size options, too. Options for the plus size community has grown leaps and bounds, but if you’re plus size and tall, you’re still pretty much being excluded.
What exactly is lingerie for tall women?
First of all, when I look for lingerie suitable for tall bodies, I look for longer bra straps or at least adjustable straps. For some of us, it’s not just our legs that are longer. There’s also longer bottoms to worry about. Keep in mind that our bodies are not widely catered to. I wish I could find something to fit every body type. Until then, we have to make do with what is available to us.
The next two items are from a place named Veraf Clothing. It is based in London and it appears they have lingerie for tall women. I’m making a note to go back and see what else they have. This first one below is interesting. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I’m intrigued by it because of its long sleeves and legs. Is this considered sexy? I seems like it would be kind of uncomfortable.
