I stumbled across Search By Inseam when I was doing a little search for some long pants to wear to work. Search By Inseam was founded in 2006 by a tall woman who was fed up with clicking through tons of detail pages and size charts, only to end up contacting customer service to locate the inseam length on a pair of jeans. While many online stores allow you to search by tall, regular, or short, there are often multiple inseams lengths within these categories, and it’s a frustrating experience when you already know the exact inseam you’re looking for.
First, you choose what type of pants you are looking for. Pants, jeans, leggings, etc. Then, you can choose your inseam, price, brand, and/or rise. The site will show you the different items from different stores that match your specifications. I did a search on jeans 36″ to 38″ inseams and below is a screenshot of the results.

The only downside is that when you are sent to the store’s website, there is probably going to be the chance that they are not going to have your size in stock. One of the jeans I looked at either had sizes way too small or too big. I’m not gonna to blame the site for that. Hey, at least they try…
I just wanted to share this with you just in case you have not come across the site before. This is an awesome concept for those of you that don’t like to shop through multiple sites. Search By Inseam searches the stores for you instead of you having to go to each individual site. If you’ve ever used them, let me know of your experience.
