Alrighty guys! Have you heard of Stantt yet? No? Well buckle your balls, boys. This is gonna be a bumpy ride!
So this is another one of the made-to-order places for the guys but it’s a little different. NOTE: please bear with me as I try to explain this. At this very moment it sounds complicated as hell. There’s algorithms, and technology, and data, and actually… let me put their video here.
The whole thing sounds a bit technical but to explain it in a dummy way, you take your measurements, send them in, and they send your clothes to you.
You’re gonna take measurements of your chest, waist, and sleeve. I’m not experienced with measuring men’s shirts, but I noticed that there’s no mention of neck measurements. Is that not important? You can order dress shirts ($98-$125), casual shirts ($98-$125), tuxedo shirts ($150), polo ($88) and t-shirts ($58). It seems like you need neck measurements for the dress and tuxedo shirts. Maybe you can send that in too, just in case. They offer a free measuring kit that includes a measuring tape, fabric swatches, and a $10 gift card. The gift card is included because you have to pay $10 shipping for the free kit. The gift card can only be used for their products. You can also get 10% off your first order when you sign up for their mailing list.
Delivery takes 7-10 days.
They also have a kickstarter for a dress shirt that is designed to perform the same as an athletic shirt. This means that it will stretch, it dries fast (no sweat marks), and it’s wrinkle resistant. I don’t know if this already exists, but it’s a pretty neat idea.
Am I the only one that thinks that a lot of work and research has gone in to this? Stantt seems like they’re really invested in this, which is awesome! This isn’t the vodka talking either.
