Finding tall athletic leggings is kind of like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It also happens to be one of the most requested searches I get… almost everyday. Apparently y’all are mostly interested in leggings and yoga pants over sports bras. Since I get that requested a lot too, I’m working on finding options with adjustable straps. Do they even exist? If they’re out there, I’ll find them for you.
Y’all this was probably one of the most frustrating and hardest tasks I have come across yet, but I think I may have come across a few suitable options. It’s not a lot, but it’s something.
This first pair comes in 35″ and 37″ inseams at Alloy Apparel.
This next pair I found at Lucy and their long leggings are 35.5″ inseam.
The following leggings are from Liquidoactive and although they say they have extra long length leggings for the leggy ladies, I couldn’t find info on the inseam. They don’t have the typical black and gray leggings so if you looking for fun colorful prints, this may be your place. I included a few of the different designs below, but there are many more to choose from.
The next pair I found at DownDog Boutique and they also claim to have very long inseam but the tall shows to be 33′ inseam which wouldn’t cut it for most of us over 6 feet tall. But since these are not bootcut leggings, I guess they would be okay to wear as crops? These may not even be legit tall athletic leggings that go to your ankle like the Alloy Apparel ones, but it’s worth a shot.
Finally, if you are looking for plain warm ups, you can get the “Made For Me” sweatpants from Swami Sportswear. They cost $27 and you can customise the pockets (2 pockets or no pockets), waistband style (standard elastic or elastic w/drawcord), and leg opening (non-elastic or elastic).
You can also get your inseam up to 42″ (for an additional $6, which isn’t bad).
One the the first places I checked was Nike and saw that their “tall” pants were a measly 33″ish inseam so I immediately clicked right back out of that site. This is very disappointing because it’s Nike. Maybe I didn’t look hard enough? Doesn’t all of the extra tall WNBA players wear Nike? I don’t watch any sports at all but I just kinda assumed Nike would do better considering how big the company is.
So this all I could put together for right now. I would say Alloy Apparel won this one. But I think there are some very impressive (maybe) contenders and I’ve never heard of most of these stores before.
Keep sending your requests to me and I’ll do the searching for you!
