A Love My Long Legs Brand Investigation
Research reviewed: October 13, 2026
A 41.5-inch inseam?!
Now THAT will get a tall woman’s attention. 👀
Welcome to the very first Tall Fashion FBI investigation, where we look beyond the marketing, check the measurements, examine the fine print, and ask the question that really matters:
Does it come long enough—and is it worth our money?
Our first case involves WEXIST, a clothing brand designed specifically for taller women.
The brand offers some seriously impressive inseam options. But around here, a long inseam gets our attention. It doesn’t automatically get our money. 😂
We’re investigating eight things: length, proportions, size range, quality, value, shipping, returns, and real customer experiences.
Let’s get into it.
1. Length: Now We’re Talking!
Let’s start with what brought WEXIST to our attention in the first place.
Select WEXIST bottoms are offered in four inseam lengths:
- 35 inches
- 37.5 inches
- 39.5 inches
- 41.5 inches
Yes, you read that correctly. Forty-one and a half inches.
That’s a length few brands offer when it comes to ready-to-wear clothing.
But here’s an important distinction: Not every WEXIST product is available in every inseam.
At the time of our review, the brand’s jeans collection advertised inseams up to 39.5 inches, while select sweatpants and joggers offered the full 41.5-inch option.
For example, WEXIST’s Black Tall Cargo Sweatpants list 35-, 37.5-, 39.5-, and 41.5-inch lengths.
That’s impressive, especially for women who regularly struggle to find pants long enough.
Our finding: WEXIST earns serious attention for offering actual inseam measurements instead of relying solely on the word tall.
Because, ladies, we all know a label that says “Tall” doesn’t mean much when the pants stop halfway down your ankles.
Where are the other four inches, Susan?! 😂

2. Proportions: Is It More Than Just Extra Fabric?
Length matters, but it’s not the whole story.
A pair of pants can have a 39-inch inseam and still fit awkwardly if the rise, knee placement, or overall proportions are wrong.
WEXIST presents its clothing as designed specifically for taller women rather than simply lengthened regular-size garments.
Some product descriptions include additional fit details. For example, the Core Tall Straight Jean describes a tall-specific fit, including knee placement and rise. Its product page also identifies a model who is 6’1”.
That’s useful information.
When a brand tells us how tall the model is, which size she’s wearing, and how the garment is constructed, we have a better starting point for determining whether it might work for us.
However, brand descriptions alone cannot establish how consistently those proportions fit different body types.
Our finding: WEXIST provides encouraging tall-specific design information, but individual garment measurements and customer fit experiences remain important.
3. Size Range: Who Can Shop?
A brand can make the longest jeans in the world, but that doesn’t help if it doesn’t carry your size.
The WEXIST jeans we reviewed offered paired sizes ranging from approximately 0/2 through 20/22.
Other bottoms use letter sizing, including options such as S through 3XL.
That’s a meaningful range to explore, although availability varies by garment, size, and inseam.
A size listed on a product page also doesn’t necessarily mean that size is currently in stock.
Our finding: WEXIST offers a range of sizes, but shoppers should check the specific garment’s size chart, inseam options, and current availability before ordering.
And remember: Tall women aren’t all built the same. Height, hips, waist, rise, and body shape matter just as much as inseam.

4. Quality: The Investigation Is Still Open
Here’s where we keep our detective hats on.
A pair of pants can look beautiful online and fit perfectly when it arrives. But what happens after five washes? Ten washes? Three months of regular wear?
That’s what we want to know.
During our initial research, we encountered positive customer comments about softness, fit, and the satisfaction of finally finding pants that were genuinely long.
We also encountered complaints involving pilling, fading, sizing, and fit.
These reports deserve consideration, but they don’t establish how frequently problems occur across the brand.
Some WEXIST product pages provide fabric details. For example, the Core Tall Straight Jean lists 99% cotton and 1% elastane, while the Black Tall Cargo Sweatpants list 80% cotton and 20% polyester.
Knowing the fabric composition helps shoppers make informed choices, but it doesn’t tell us everything about construction or durability.
Our finding: We don’t yet have enough substantive, independent long-term wear evidence to make a broad judgment about WEXIST’s quality.
And we’re not going to pretend otherwise.
5. Value: Are We Paying the Tall Girl Tax?
Let’s talk money.
Tall women already know how frustrating it can be to find clothing that fits, only to discover that the price is considerably higher than expected.
We call that the Tall Girl Tax.
During our review, many WEXIST bottoms were priced roughly between $40 and $80, depending on the style and promotions.
For example, the Black Tall Cargo Sweatpants were listed at $69.99, while a Core Tall Straight Jean was advertised at $69.99 on sale.
Those prices may be appealing for genuinely extended inseams.
But price and value aren’t the same thing.
A $70 pair of pants that holds up beautifully for years could be a better purchase than a $40 pair that pills or loses its shape after a few washes.
Likewise, a long inseam doesn’t justify poor construction or an uncomfortable fit.
Our finding: WEXIST’s prices deserve consideration, especially given its extended lengths. But we need more durability evidence before declaring the brand an excellent value.
We’re interested in saving money, not simply spending it on longer pants.
6. Shipping: Pay Attention to the Product Type
This is one area where shoppers need to read carefully.
WEXIST sells products with different fulfillment arrangements, including regular inventory, preorders, and made-to-order merchandise.
Those categories can have very different timelines.
For example, the Black Tall Cargo Sweatpants product page currently displays preorder messaging and made-to-order information, including an estimated 14–25 business days for processing and delivery.
We recommend confirming the timeline directly with WEXIST before purchasing.
Our finding: Do not assume every WEXIST order will ship immediately.
Check the individual product listing, particularly if you’re ordering for a trip, birthday, event, or special occasion.
Nobody wants to order an outfit for Saturday and receive it three Saturdays too late.

7. Returns: READ THE FINE PRINT!
Now, ladies, THIS is the part I really want you to pay attention to.
According to WEXIST’s published return policy:
- Eligible refund returns must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags.
- Refunds to the original payment method are reduced by a $10.95 restocking fee.
- Choosing store credit avoids that fee.
- Clearance items, custom inseams, and certain one-time launch items are final sale.
- Preorders are described as nonrefundable and exchange-only.
- Customers are instructed to report damaged or incorrect merchandise within 3 days of delivery.
WEXIST also advertises a first-exchange shipping benefit for eligible first-time U.S. customers.
Let’s put that into perspective.
If you purchase a $70 pair of pants and decide they don’t fit, a $10.95 restocking fee can make that return more expensive than you expected.
And seven days is not a particularly generous window when you’re juggling work, family, and everything else life throws at you.
Our finding: WEXIST’s return policy is one of the biggest considerations in this investigation.
We’re not saying don’t shop there.
We’re saying know exactly what you’re agreeing to before checkout.
Because finding long pants should not come with an expensive surprise.
8. Real Customer Experiences: We Need More Witnesses
Customer reviews matter, particularly when you’re shopping with a brand you’ve never tried before.
During our research, we found encouraging reports from shoppers who appreciated WEXIST’s extended lengths.
Some customers described pants that finally reached their shoes, while others reported that certain styles were actually longer than expected.
That’s encouraging!
But we also want to hear from women who have worn the clothing regularly, washed it repeatedly, and dealt with the company if something went wrong.
We haven’t established a sufficiently broad, independent sample of long-term customer experiences to reach a firm conclusion about overall reliability.
And that’s where the Love My Long Legs community comes in.
Our finding: WEXIST shows promise, but more independent customer experiences would make this investigation stronger.
The Tall Fashion FBI Verdict
CASE #001: WEXIST
Status: Promising — Further Evidence Needed
Here’s our assessment.
What impressed us:
- Actual inseam measurements extending to 41.5 inches on select bottoms.
- Jeans advertised up to 39.5 inches.
- Tall-specific fit and proportion information on some products.
- Size options extending beyond standard small-to-large ranges.
- Prices that may offer reasonable value if the garments perform well over time.
What gave us pause:
- Limited independent evidence about long-term durability.
- Mixed customer feedback encountered during initial research.
- Different fulfillment timelines depending on the product.
- A short seven-day return window.
- A $10.95 restocking fee for eligible refunds to the original payment method.
- Restrictions on preorders and final-sale items.
Would Love My Long Legs Recommend WEXIST?
WEXIST is worth investigating if you need genuinely long inseams.
Its length offerings stand out, especially for women who need more than 36 or 37 inches.
However, we are not issuing an unconditional endorsement.
We’d like stronger evidence about long-term quality, consistency of fit, and the overall customer experience before doing that.
That’s not a rejection of WEXIST. It’s simply where the evidence stands today.
Because our job isn’t to convince you to buy something.
Our job is to help you decide whether it’s worth your money.

- How was your shipping, return, or customer-service experience?

Would a 41.5-inch inseam be a dream come true—or would you need a tailor to take some of it OFF? 😂
